Sharmin Rahman is a writer and beauty model. She has modeled for L'Oréal, Estée Lauder, Maybelline campaigns and more with State Management in NYC and LA.
She is currently working on her debut novel and a short story collection. She graduated from NYU's MFA program, where she received the Goldwater Writing Fellowship and taught Introduction to Poetry and Prose.
She served as the Web Editor for Washington Square Review and has previously worked in the print editorial department at BOMB Magazine. In addition to her editorial work, she serves as a National Reviewer for the YoungArts Foundation’s annual competition.
Her work appears in Current Affairs Magazine, Meadowlark Review, Moon City Review and The Dublin Review. Her short story “Artificial Intelligence” was nominated for the 2023 Pushcart Prize.
